3D Character Design Minotaur

Early attempts at 3D character and portrait modelling
Just starting out with ZBrush (a steep learning curve) I love the creative freedom that this software offers, I can now combine my love of painting with my desire to sculpt, I am really enjoying this new art form!

Working with Zspheres
All of the images below are works in progress...
!st stage in new character model, concentrated on getting the pose right using Zspheres

Progression of model, fleshing out in dynamesh, building up the muscles and early work on head and hands
Not happy with head, gonna try giving it a minotaur look
Much happier with Minotaur head, have tweaked various parts of the body and done some work on the nails
Reasonably happy with this, time to try my hand at texturing and painting
I think I achieved the gruesome look I was aiming for
This is as far as I am taking this for the time being, I have learnt a lot in the process of making this character (mainly due to the mistakes I made), looking forward to working on next model using knowledge I have gained in the creation of this one.
Using a different Metcap totally changes the skin texture, I like the dried wrinkled appearance of this
