Journey To The West - Baba Nyonya Style
This design is inspired by the cultures of Baba Nyonya in Malaysia. Baba nyonya are descendant of Chinese immigrant who came to the Malay archipelago. They practice an unique cultures which incorporate both Chinese and Malay cultures. Similarly, the design attempt to present this unique cultures by using the characters from famous story "Journey to the West" with the batik art style.
The mentor of the 3 disciple - Tang San Zang or Tripitaka a more common name in English version, he's been assigned to Dahila Kingdom to retrieve original Buddhist scriptures.
The first disciple of Tang San Zang - Sun Wu Kong also called the monkey king. The master of 72 polymorphic transformation, his combat ability is nearly unrivaled.
The second disciple - Zhu Ba Jie also known as Marshal of the Heavenly Canopy before the punishment of god due to the severe mistake.
The third disciple - Sha Wu Jing was once a celestial general. After commited an unforgivable mistake he is being banished to the mortal world.
