The Veteran- You’ll spot the veteran from a mile away! Yep, he has a camp chair, a fully-alined parka to keep warm, if need be and he’s rocking some other hard-to-obtain kicks you’ve been coveting. His cellphone battery’s fully charged and so is the iPad or any other gadget he’s using to pass time in the line.
The HypeBeast - This dude is only in line so he can say he bought it first! Note that he is probably the best to follow on IG because he’ll be selling his hot new purchase on the internets to fund his next purchase, sooner than later. Don’t bother asking him which his favourite drop is, he’s only worried about what everybody else likes.
The mom- There is never a limit to a mother’s love, so she’s in line waiting for PUMA Select to open because her sneakerhead kid can’t skip that exam or meeting. You know she’s getting the exact colour way and size she came for, too- that’s the level of focus and resourcefulness we’re dealing with here.
The smug limited edition collector- Nobody likes this dude. Why is he even in the line? He probably has the latest drop shipped to his address the minute it’s released anywhere in the world! Oh yah… He’s threatening pics for IG or handing out refreshments to the lesser humans. Ugh.
The New Guy- this dude is either FIRST in line because he doesn’t know better than to wait a full two days longer than everybody else or he rocks up half an hour before the store opens and is shocked that there are already people in line, so he come in all the way last and leaves with a tee three sizes too big just so he can say he bought something. Sidenote: God forbid he comes through early, because even though he doesn’t know kinda kicks he digs he’s copping the ones you spent all day waiting for in your size.
