Issues
Stress is a part of life. It happens to everyone every day as we cope with ordinary events, interact with people and meet all kinds of demands. A moderate amount of stress gets you excited about life, motivates you and improves your performance. It is when stress is too intense or continues for a prolonged period of time that it can become harmful and may have negative effects. Even if one may be able to cope with their stress levels well, prolonged periods of stress can still pose a health risk, as said by Anna Chen, an Institute of Mental Health clinical psychologist. Being constantly stressed can lead to lower immunity, depression, poor sleep and high blood pressure.

High levels of stress could cause many physical and mental illnesses. Doctors and human resource experts states that more young professionals are ending up with medical problems, including insomnia, depression and hypertension, because of extra-long work hours.
