At my first year studying at Norwegian School of Creative Studies I made two versions of Gregory David Roberts "Shantaram" both versions play on the book's action witch is taking part in India's capital, Bombay.
The book is a 2003 novel by Gregory David Roberts, in which a convicted Australian bank robber and heroin addict who escaped from Pentridge Prison flees to India where he settles and lives for 10 years. The novel is commended by many for its vivid portrayal of tumultuous life in Bombay.
