The scarf is symbolic of a family that cares for him. It doesnt protect him from the harsh environment and hazards of the road but reminds him why he is doing this.
Call me 24/7
Boda bodas come handy any time- day or night. They are the ones we call when we need to move a parcel around town or beat traffic when the traffic jam makes it impossible to get to work or home on a budget.

The bodas (PSV motor cycles) are a means for earning an honest living for tens of thousands of kenyans who would have otherwise been unemployed. They are part of the bigger transport network that makes a contribution to the economy.
Dear Boda customer,
I know life is hard and you want to save every coin, but be considerate of the safety of the boda guy (who won't say noas he is in need of that two hundred shillings) and of all the motorists he will put in danger as he delivers your bigger than life cargo. Keep in mind that he has no access to side mirrors and his boda being invisible in the dark as his back lights and indicators are covered.
