Cup of Sugar Collective is a community of neighbors trying to live more sustainably and frugally by sharing common household items. If you're interested in helping make this project a reality, please contact me!
To join, the user fills out a profile, donates a couple of items for sharing, and is vetted in person by a collective member.
The home page includes information about signing up for the collective. Once you've logged in, you land on a "dashboard" of sorts, where you can view your profile information and keep track of items you are borrowing, and items that are being borrowed from you.
A search form at the top of the page allows you to search by entering in your location, distance/radius you want to search in, and item keyword. Search results appear on a zoomable map, and also as a list, which can be sorted by availability, distance, owner rating, and number of times shared. Clicking on an item brings up a message form through which you can contact the owner directly to set up borrowing terms.
