First, I start off with the photo. I got this shot of a lavatory when traveling onboard a B767 to Montevideo, Uruguay.

Imported the photo into Adobe Illustrator CC. Using it as a template I drew the necessary shapes.

After hiding the photo template I imported the AiCC file into Ps CC (yes, I know; I could've done it in AiCC).
4.
Duplicated the layer; applied a stroke with fill at 0%; moved the layers so that they're a bit off from each other. From here on it's switching colors on all layers...
5.
After endless color changes, I finally settled for these. Cool.
