7 ply is a skateboarding magazine. Skateboards are made from seven veneer wood planks, called ply and from there is the name: 7 ply. The covers are made from wood and the logo is engraved on them. The diamond form comes from the sole of the waffle skateboarding shoes and they are made from griptape on the first cover and engraved on the second one. The magazine has the shape of a skateboard when it is open. The skateboards have griptape on the front and stickers on the back. My magazine is made in the same way. The stickers are used for headings.
