Morpho Colombia is an acrylic on canvas, depicting a Blue Morpho butterfly in a female portrait form.
This beautiful butterfly is found in the colombian forests and some rural towns, with very big sizes and iridescent colors, it enchants the rivers of the country.
The final touches included highlighting of the face, detail the shape of the eyes, give warm tones to the clothing
Here it is showed the palette in grayish colors and high luminosity. Almost monochromatic in blue, it allows the red to stand out of the picture.
First coat of painting in blue gray, burgundy and white. The focal point because of the contrast, is the mouth and the other interest point is the crown and its baroque design.
