Lakris

Created packaging and identity design for fictious licorice brand, Lakris. The goal was to create
a packaging form that compactly houses six different types of licorice. The result was a
hexagon shape that allows all six triangle containers to neatly fit within one form. The containers
can be individually removed after opening. The outer shell is decorated with patterns inspired
by Delft ceramic pottery from Holland. The main color palette is rich, ocean blue and crisp, pure
white, a nod to Dutch ceramics and the vibrant seaside landscapes of the European Nordic
countries. In production this carton packaging would be produced as folding cartons and direct
printed with offset litho printing.
