The concept of this project is to create a piece of furniture with programed deterioration. Its deterioration adds value to the product, or transforms its uses. In life, the trend is to throw away what is old, what doesn't work anymore. Here, we use time and deterioration to our advantage.
It seemed easy at the beginning, but it is actually very hard to accomplish. My idea was to create an infinite calendar.
That is, it may be used every year, and its own elements of leather and silver, as they warped, wriped and oxidized only means that experince has left us scars and these scars are a representation of wisdom.
The infinite calendar is meant to be passed from generation to generation in families, companies or any industry as a representation of time and effort.
