Student Mentor Program, IIT Bombay
Student Mentor Program, IIT Bombay is an initiative by IIT Bombay Student Community & Faculties to help freshmen transition to new campus life. SMP, IIT Bombay welcomes, educates, Inspires & Guides freshmen through various aspects of institute life. Under Dean Academics Office, IIT Bombay & for my enthusiasm to interact with freshmen, I accepted duties as a Design Nominee for Team SMP 2016-17. Following are project scope & deliverables.
Project scope:
Primarily work on SMP's identity, design of new Freshmen Booklet, Mentor Booklet, design & develop web portal interactions & design Team SMP's visiting cards to be shared with freshmen.
Opportunities:
Chance to revisit history and prospected future of IIT Bombay, observe multiple minute interactions between juniors & just senior batchmates, interacted with numerous juniors, worked precisely on web portal's interaction design.

Design of cover for Freshmen Booklet
Freshmen booklet is distributed to every freshmen with a view to update them with bare minimums of their upcoming new institute life. Hence, it was one of key characteristics decided for said project to keep designs as clean & sufficiently minimal as possible. Following are designs for Freshmen booklets, followed by Mentor Handbook.
Design of member's visiting card
It was initially expected to design every card with contact details of every core-team member and 3 additional emergency contacts along with contact details of respective mentor on the other side.
