My project is based on the quote, “The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.” I chose this quote because it means a lot to me. It means that nothing is impossible. It means that when you set your mind to something, then you can achieve it. It means that even if people underestimate you and tell you that you cannot do something, that you still can as long as you believe in yourself. To show this quote I put in a picture of myself with both of my hands up. On one hand I am holding a dancer and on the other I am holding Australia. This was supposed to represent that I loved the arts and loved traveling. The flower that I am sitting on represents cheerfulness which is one of my favorite qualities of myself. The flower also shows perseverance which is what you need a ton of to be able to achieve the things you want and to prove people wrong.

    My color scheme also takes part in the meaning of my artwork. I chose to use the black and white theme for the most part of my project but chose to just put myself in vibrant color. This was supposed to represent that I stand out from my surroundings. I never bother about what others are doing but only care about how to carry myself. The colors were meant to portray that even if life may be dull and boring sometimes, you should always be yourself because it’s way better to be original than to be boring. So my quote basically represented me as a whole and what I truly stand for and mean. My artwork, I feel, captures the meaning that I was trying to get across and the colors and objects tied it all together.
