This project is about Perfume Brand appeal in terms of influencing the marketing of these products. While an attempt will be made to indicate the part played by packaging and bottle shape in influencing customer demands, emphasis will be placed on the means of exhibiting the fragrances in the form of testers. This is centred on three French perfume brands namely, Chanel, Dior and Givenchy as these like most French brands have been at the forefront of the developing market in luxury products after the second world war. This project will involve multisensory strategies to make brands appealing and to influence buying decisions both cleverly and selectively.
