The Getty Villa is known throughout the world for its collection of stunning Roman mosaics. This paint packaging concept connects one of the museum's treasured collections with the rich color museum visitors can bring into their home.
I wanted the mosaics to have a handmade quality to them, so I cut out the tiles from stacks of paint color samples. While raiding Ace's collection, I researched ancient Roman mosaics and gathered colors I found in the images.
