Inspired illustration is a name that I came up with for all of the practice pieces that I make that are inspired by the work of some of my favorite artists. I find that trying to reproduce a piece that you like is a great way to practice with new materials and techniques. This specific piece was modeled after "Emotions" by Matias Johansson. His work is a huge influence to me and looking at his work and seeing the quality of what he puts out really pushed me to get my own graphics tablet. So far I'm getting the hang of it, and I truly feel as though it's going to be a fun learning experience.
