Beyond the packaging: desk organizer

Paperboard desk organizer, a Packly DIY suggestion: one box, many opportunities.

Packly allows you to print your custom packaging in a fast and easy way and that’s not all. In fact, you can also create a die-cut template with custom sizes and personalised artwork starting from the box that you prefer and then use it for your DIY creations. At the moment, the packaging die-cut template is free: you have at your disposal a highly professional dies generator to give shape to your immagination. This service allowed us to realise our daily project, a desk organizer totally personalised. The box organizer is made by two of the box types available on Packly: standard tray and open end box. The tray is the base of our storage box and 5 open end boxes will be inserted in it. You can customize each component with your own graphics: you won’t do without this desktop accessory anymore. First of all you have to create each box of the desk organizer simply entering the dimension and the substrate, then you only have to download the die-cut template PDF files, create the artworks and save the printing files. After doing that you should cut and fold the box along the die-cut guidelines (blue lines for the cut, red lines for the crease). Once you cut and folded the boxes you can assemble the paperboard desk organizer.

Directions:

- Choose ‘tray’ box type and ‘standard’ box style and insert the sizes and the substrate required
- Download the die-cut template automatically generated by our application
- Open the PDF file in a graphic design software and create your custom artwork in a new layer
- Save the printing file
- Print, cut and crease the tray following the die-cut paths
- Generate the open end box die-cut templates and repeat the previous steps
- Glue and assemble the boxes
- Your desk organizer is ready to use

Contenitore portaoggetti da scrivania in cartoncino, la nuova proposta fai da te di Packly: una scatola, tante possibilità.

Con Packly puoi stampare le tue scatole personalizzate in modo semplice e veloce, ma non solo. Infatti puoi anche generare unicamente il tracciato fustella del packaging che ti interessa, con dimensioni personalizzate, e utilizzarlo per le tue creazioni fai da te. Il tracciato è scaricabile, al momento, gratuitamente: hai quindi a tua disposizione un servizio altamente professionale di creazione di fustelle per dare forma alla tua creatività. L’idea di oggi sfrutta, infatti, questo servizio per realizzare un comodo contenitore portaoggetti da scrivania totalmente personalizzato. Questo organiser è stato realizzato utilizzando due delle tipologie di scatole disponibili sul nostro sito: il vassoio standard e il contenitore. Il vassoio costituisce la base del portaoggetti al cui interno saranno inseriti 5 contenitori di diverse misure. Ciascun componente, dal vassoio fino all’ultimo contenitore, può essere personalizzato con la grafica che preferisci: un accessorio da scrivania di cui non potrai più fare a meno. Dopo aver realizzato ciascuna scatola che compone il portaoggetti inserendo le dimensioni desiderate e lo spessore del materiale, è stato sufficiente scaricare il PDF del tracciato fustella di ciascuna confezione, creare la grafica e salvare i file per la stampa, sagomare e piegare la scatola seguendo le linee del tracciato stampato (blu per il taglio, rosse per la cordonatura). Una volta tagliate e incollate le scatole è bastato comporle per dar vita al nostro contenitore portaoggetti da scrivania in cartoncino.

Di seguito una breve guida per la realizzazione del nostro progetto e alcune foto del prodotto finito.

Procedimento:

- Scegliere il modello di packaging ‘vassoio’ e la sua variante ‘standard’, inserire le dimensioni e lo spessore desiderati
- Scaricare il tracciato fustella generato automaticamente tramite il pulsante di ‘Download’
- Aprire il file PDF scaricato con un software di grafica vettoriale e creare la propria grafica su un livello diverso rispetto a quello del tracciato
- Salvare il file comprensivo di grafica personalizzata
- Stampare il file, tagliare e cordonare il vassoio seguendo le linee del tracciato fustella
- Generare per ogni contenitore il tracciato fustella corrispondente, in base alle dimensioni desiderate, e ripetere il procedimento appena descritto per ciascuno di essi
- Incollare il vassoio e i contenitori in corrispondenza delle alette colla e montare le scatole
- Comporre il contenitore portaoggetti da scrivania
