I created two illustrations for this magazine.
Used for a diagram in an article outlining the anatomy of fear - how the body reacts when stressed.  Each organ drawn somehow reacts to stress.
Rapid breathing (lungs)   -   Quickened heartbeat (heart)   -    Increased sweating (hands spotted with blue)   -   Decreased salivation and dilated pupils (pinched mouth and bloodshot eyes, pupils blacking out the iris)   -   Relaxed bladder - bladder     Rapid, focused thoughts (Watercolor explosion)   -   Inhibited digestive functions (stomach).
Used both in the table of contents and for an article that explores if and how the media perpetuates fear of illness and disease.
