THIS Belongs in a Museum

An interactive museum archive, based around a single question: What is the single most beautiful thing you've seen today?

An interactive archive through the means of an app and website.

APP: Users upload photographs answering the question: What is the single most beautiful thing you've seen today? Only the app can be used to upload photographs or videos, to emphasize being in that one single moment. Each photograph will be geographically tagged and the user has the option to add single word tags which can be searched. This allows the viewer to search the gallery by location as well as by subject matter.

WEBSITE: The website functions solely as a gallery. No photographs or videos may be submitted through the website. However, the website does allow searches to be performed more easily as there is an interactive map of the United States. There is also a timeline feature, specific to the website, which allows a user to search by date and time.

SPLASH PAGE: click the box to proceed. Acts as a reminder of the question the photographs and videos will be answering.

GALLERY: Videos will function as a gif, a small looping video.

When an image is selected from the gallery.

Click and drag the red bar on the right to display more information.

TIMELINE: The timeline displays images and videos chronologically.

MAP: User is able to search by state. White boxes will pop up as images are received and slowly fade, user may chose to click on those to see the resulting image/video.
