Illustrating for Sarda Math

Every year I draw a set of illustrations for a religious institution called Sarda Math. It was founded by Swami Vivekananda.
If you are curious to know more do visit http://www.srisaradamath.org/
The illustrations I draw act as a visual aid for the lectures conducted at the Instituition.
This year's lectures are based on Sister Nivedita's teachings. You can read more about her life here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sister_Nivedita
These illustrations are based on a story of Sister Nivedita- Swamiji's disciple. Once a student learning in Sister Nivedita's school slept in her bedroom during school hours. Sister Nivedita does not approve this behaviour.
But instead of scolding the girl, Nivedita passes on the message to the girl's friends and advices them.
This is the time before India's independence when girls used to wear sari since childhood. I really enjoyed working on the little girl's saree.
Although, another day a girl feels unwell in a class Sister Nivedita is conducting at school.
Sister Nivedita personally takes the girl to her own room and takes care of her till she gets better.
