Balmain x Intermix - Retail Buying Simulation

This is a copy of a term project presentation for the class Retail Buying Simulation. My partner and I chose to complete a 6 month sales plan, OTB, and Assortment plan of Balmain for the store Intermix.

We chose to complete a purchasing plan for three Intermix locations: Buckhead, Atlanta; Bal Harbour, Florida; and Meetpacking, New York, New York.

The project criteria required us to complete purchases for two product categories. We chose Women's Dresses & Outerwear.

Our base purchasing pyramid consists of 5 units, per style, per size, per door.

For the month of August, we chose a warmer color palette with lighter styles to align with the warmer weather.
For the month of October, we chose a darker color palette with transition styles in preparation for the winter weather months. 
For the month of December, we chose higher priced, colorful / metallic, specialty pieces in preparation for the holiday party season. 
The project criteria required us to select 3 months to complete assormtent plans for. My partner and I were carfeful to consider styles, colors, and price points in order to stary on budget. With my background in Fashion Design, I was able to use the listed retail price to calculate approximate product costs.
