Peninsular

Peninsular has its origins in the beginnigs of the XIX century by the hand of Valentim Ribeiro Gonçalves Basto.
Currently, Eduardo Valentim, that just turned 80 years old, remains active in the Peninsular, with his enthusiasm and unparalleled commitment and his son José Eduardo took the lead of the Offset and Digital systems, allowing the growth and expansion of their services.

Peninsular is now in its 5th generation but is always striving to preserve its essence. Being one of the most emblematic houses of Oporto, its set in a world heritage area and therefore is concerned to preserve and conserve its built heritage.

Peninsular was, is, and will always be a symbol of commitment and dedication.
In order to take another step in its history, it was proposed a new graphic identity inspired by the original façade design, still intact in one of the most famous streets of Porto, preserving the Peninsular legacy and a comemorative book  that celebrates its more than 100 years of activity.
Thanks to Diogo Barbedo and his Family,
and to all the Peninsular workers, without whom this project would not be possible.
