This body of work aims to provide a visual connection to various posts taken from Craigslist.com's "Missed Connections" forum. After nearly a year of reading through hundreds of posts on the site within the West Michigan populace, what has been found is a large anonymous community who desperately seeks human connection and interaction with people they've either met in the past or seen in passing. These posts range from vulgar harassment to romantic poems to heartfelt, sometimes futile attempts to reconnect with a friend or lover. I have selected a number of these posts and photographed scenes from the surrounding areas that reflect the emotions and words of this nameless community.
