Packaging for "MatchTape"

MatchTape is a roll of double layered waterproof tape with flexible waterproof matches embedded within. Out in the wilderness whether you’re hiking, biking, climbing or rafting, you can apply a strip of MatchTape to the inside or outside of an article of clothing, backpack, canteen, etc., rendering it a weightless life saving device that can’t be left behind at camp, ejected from the raft or dropped while scaling that cliff face. Wherever you go, MatchTape goes.

In a survival situation, it is important to communicate distress for any potential rescuers nearby. Three fires in a triangle is the international distress signal one should make. The triangle is not only commonly used to signify distress and danger, it can also be found in many items outdoors: a mountain, tent or shelter, a river delta, coniferous trees, campfires, etc. This shape inspired the packaging for MatchTape.
