This is an Artist Book for American Sculptor Louise Nevelson. Her work is large scale wooden sculptures that consist of found objects. Her most famous works were monochromatic; black on black, white on white, gold on gold. The Artist Book encompasses these features of her work creating an engaging and interactive insight into her art.
The 'book' consists of 6 acrylic sheets that sit in a black wooden base and, when viewed from the right angle, spell out a quote that she once said; "I first wanted to give structure to shadow - now I want to give structure to reflection". There is also a book showing examples of her work. All of this is housed within a slightly bigger than A3 black wooden box to complete the package.
