“Reality is not real.”

This project is about how the brain translates the world around us and what can affect that perception. It’s also about understanding the difference between what we think we see and what we actually see. As an artist I have the power to affect the perception of other people and I decided to fully use that power in my work. My artwork can communicate ideas, talk about taboos without using words. I directed my focus to mental disorders, specifically dissociation disorders, and the way in which the affect the perception of the people who suffer from them.
