To mark the UEFA Euro 2016 I created a series of pattern of the French team, a representation of all teams through time.
I’m the biggest soccer fan there is. I love everything about the sport and what it represents. This is where my interest for sports equipment, particularly jersey design, stems from.
Thus, the idea of Pattern came to me quite naturally. I wanted to transform the jerseys of the football team of France into minimalist designs, focusing on their logo and patterns, and removing sponsor logos and any other embellishments.
