Biologic Packaging is the result of a graduate thesis class.
It explores an innovative approach to packaging. Through the application of smart materials, the package id considered as a smart item that enhances the consumer’s experience. By reacting to its surrounding environment, the package can change physical properties and thus communicate with the user. By visually and functionally mimicking elements and systems found in nature, this line of packages can solve daily challenges that we, as humans, face everyday with everything that surrounds us.
The products chosen vary from personal care to food and beverage:
. Lip Balm
. Sunblock Lotion
. Moisturizing Lotion
. Food Container
. Coffee Cup
When those packages go through the changing process, the consumer understands that it is communicating a message, suggesting that the consumer might be at risk.
