To celebrate their first year online, I Love Graphic website hosted a festival in Nicosia, Cyprus on May 29th 2016. There was an open call for a poster competition. The subject was to visualize the word e-motion.
I chose to visualize a scene from the book Moby Dick. For those who aren’t familiar, Moby Dick (or the whale) is a novel by Herman Melville. Published in 1851, tells the story of Captain Ahab’s quest for revenge on Moby Dick.
In my own words the meaning of this book is something more than just a revenge story. For me is the everyday struggle of humans against everything that is outside their limits.
