The Vikings : Builders of Destruction.
Vinkings were a population known for their violence and brutality, but less for their skills in marine, handicraft and art. With the scenography, we expressed this contrast.
We opposed violence & conflicts to life & family in two separate rooms.
The first one hosted structures that represented a Drakkar boat under construction. Each of these structures were associated to Art & Crafts, Defense, Farming, Commerce and sailing. The second space : Invading, Plunder, Burning, Subjection and Slaughter. The space represented a village being slaughtered. Into each blackblock you can have a look at the scenery that is happening inside : projections of Vikings attacking villagers.
