Carobi : Alcohol Branding

My objective for this project was to design a striking and up-market logo, bottle label, drinks card and point of sale for a drink called Carobi. Carobi originates from the Caribbean and is influenced by the love potions of ‘Obeah’, which is a West African form of witchcraft or sorcery, similar to Voodoo.

The drink was to have a target market of style-conscious 20–40 year olds.

My final design is based on the veve symbols that are mainly used in Voodoo to represent the different Loa (gods).  I like the style of the design because of the bright, bold colours, readable typography (particularly for the logo) and intricate symbols.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy!
