Poster Design
Promote the annual Cork Film Festival through a series of posters that convey the essence of what the festival is about using digital image techniques.
Inspired by 'movie monsters' I chose to illustrate through posters the Cork Film Festival using one image of a piece of film which was manipulated using digital image techniques.
The first image suggests a King Kong type monster based on the iconic scene atop the Empire State Building in New York complete with search lights and bullet holes. The second is reminiscent of a deep sea creature like the Kraken, underwater and deadly, waiting to make an attack.
