Robert Bush Art Work
Illustration, Art Direction and Graphic Design
I am primarily a print publication graphic designer who also has a BFA in BioMedical or Scientific Illustration. For four years I was the Publisher/Art Director of Idyllwild Life Magazine, a bi-monthly publication. If you go to www.idyllwildlife.com you will see samples of my design work from the past two years. Using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelX4, Adobe Acrobat and the MS Office Suite I have designed all of the editorial and 95% of the advertising in the publication. As a graphic designer I have done the initial concepts and designed many logos, corporate identity packages, marketing collateral, POP displays, packaging, billboards and trade show booth signage. In illustrations (both hand drawn and digital), I have worked with many editorial and marketing departments to collaborate on magazine and book covers. Being an Art Director for magazines I am very accustomed to meeting deadlines for print. In the past I have been in a supervisory role over a department of as many as six graphic designers and production artists.
