The concept of the temporary pavilion for Art Basel is inspired by the psychological experience of Apophenia which it is an experience of seeing patterns or connections in random o meaningless data. Most would assume this psychological experience will occur on every person as every person sees and judge things differently. It is most likely a perception of a person who sees patterns or connections where none exists. The pavilion has been designed to be inspired by the most significant expressive element of creating a piece of art that is related to the psychological experience of Apophenia which is the art of Klecksography. Klecksography is the art of making images using ink/brush and it has been used by Rorschach in his psychological test to record and analyzed psychological interpretation. Inspired by the undulations and distortion created using brush strokes to create Klecksography. The whole pavilion will play a significant role as a place where the world’s design trends and innovative cases are introduced. “ Design with People” as its core value, it pursues new thinking, various talents and a better life.
