This project features a number of illustrations that depict various subjects. Although these images convey different themes and a starkly different from one another, it explores the use of art and design to express different events, feelings, and ideas that characterize the human experience.

Fried: The first image features a headless individual, whose head is removed from his body from being overwhelmed by the mechanical patterns of life. In essence, the picture attempts to illustrate one’s innate creativity being overshadowed by the mundane things in life, frying their creative thoughts and ideas.

Two to Tango: The second image depicts an individual, and the two sides of soul. This illustration attempts to convey the conflict that arises between the ‘good’ and ‘dark’ aspects of one’s personality.

March to your own Beat: The third image attempts to capture the spirit of the 50s as the Beat Generation spurred a new era of art and culture after the Second World War. The image features the silhouettes of three individuals in the big city.

Happy is the new Pink: The fourth picture features three girls in their individual styles and element. It attempts to illustrate the authenticity that all embody to encourage self-expression and embracing of the self. After all, happiness comes in all shapes and sizes.
