my mind on paper
I tried to zoom out and only draw the images that I could imagine. To no surprise my deer's are the main focus, but usually if I draw without a purpose I draw those animals. Also an owl, lizard and whirls are usually what I put on paper.
This was an experiment to find out if I could draw on paper what I was imagining at the time, without a disturbance of reality.
These two fighting bucks were what I first drew on the paper. I first drew the buck on the left and then added the other one who is more aggressive.
The three curious deer's where what I drew right after the bucks. The deer on the left is male and afraid of the two grown bucks, the other two deer's are females. The one in the middle is more curious and not shy but the doe on the right is shy and dramatic. Behind here are whirls witch add to her dramatic pose.
The big buck and the owl both have huge's eyes that get the viewers attention when looking at the illustration. Those eyes are not supported by reality.
A turtle representing the crown chakra (I found this out afterwards)
A fox and a rabbit. The fox is sleeping so the rabbit is safe, but it is obviously worried. I tried to draw the rabbit's eye a few times and it always turned out worried or sad. I first drew the rabbit and then the fox.
I like to draw lizards and my son was watching Rango the cartoon when I was doing this illustration so the iguana was welcome to join, though I think Rango is a silly chameleon. I think the tail of this iguana is from the main character in the cartoon.
This is probably the strangest drawing because I drew this bird without knowing what I was drawing. I had to google fancy birds to find out this is a Lire bird. I got the look of the bird pretty correct considering I was just drawing something from my memory cells.
There are two spooky guys in the illustration. Both have round staring eyes with no life in them. I have no idea what this is!
This little bird is hidden on the falcon. First this bird was hidden in the horns of the large buck but when I drew over the pencil with the ink pen I accidentally drew over it. I was going to leave it like that but when finishing I added it again. It just really wanted to be apart of my illustration. In the end, it started licking the falcons ear ... nice!
The whole illustration and if you red my explanations you should now how to read my mind through the pictures.
