magazine is the final deliverable of e a group project for my Race, Gender, and Media class. Our job, as the magazine major group, was to use our skills to create a project the connects all of the ideas and topics we have been discussing in class about race and gender in the media. We created magazine, which targets young women who will be the next generation of media professionals, such as female journalism students. The content of the magazine would showcase females leaders in media professions now, and upcoming female leaders, and how they are paving the way for gender expression and empowerment in the media industry. I created the magazine's personality and translated it into a subtle, yet strong editorial design.
