Asmara's Summer is a fun and peppy Young Adult fiction novel that follows it's young, pretty and popular protagonist's antics as she spends her summer at her grandmother's house in Bangalore's Tannery Road. Will it be a nightmare, or a lesson in self-discovery? Or both? Will Asmara find herself in the bylanes of Tannery Road?

 

I was commissioed to make the cover illustration for Asmara's Summer. I wanted the cover to be of the same peppy and sassy nature as it's protagonist. Asmara's social media obsession and instagram handle plays quite a significant role in the story which inspired the cover illustration.
