Unconvention Factory
Unconvention Factory was an event which brought together about 300 people to discuss and debate working as an independent musician in the post major label digital age and to record, design and distribute an album in a day. The event took place on the 30th anniversary of Joy Division's Ian Curtis's suicide, and took place in Macclesfield, in an old silk mill.
I took the idea of a factory and used the Factory records logo outline in which to place a detailed music-machine. The 'smoke' emanating from the chimney is supposed to represent the music being created.
