Beyond Food project I.

This project aims to explore the origins of food and dining experience. Based on the prehistorical era, collections of utensils, holders and plates are developed exploring the ideas of hunting, gathering as well as human making fire and using water. The purpose is to bring back the culture and history and make people start to think where are foods we eat from, how them are obtained and processed.

this vessel collection breaks the boundary of traditional shape of tabletop and presents food vertically in a more sculptural and dramatical way meanwhile highlight the color and texture of the food contained in the vessels. Nostalgia vessel can bo used either for solid or liquid food.
