Fiat Lux
This project aims to explore the acrylic and siliconematerials and practice related plastic processing skills. From the inspirationof biology especially the cell structure, I want to design a lamp.
This lamp is mainly composed of acrylic and silicone rubberthat convey a strong contrast either in shape or texture and thus bring thelamp a fresh new look.
What is more, exploring the silicone rubber material is themain focus of this project including the property of this material and theapplication of it. Therefore, this lamp is fully taking advantage of thestretchy, soft and strong mimic ability of the silicone rubber that in thisproject is dragon skin.
