How can we utilise our web presence more effectively?

Challenge

Herkules Capital are a leading Private Equity firm operating between Norway and Singapore. They invest in and develop businesses with strong growth potential accumulating in a total of NOK 15 billion raised to date. As part of a complete overhaul of their brand they appointed Mission to strengthen their web experience.

“Building tomorrow’s winners” is the central theme of their brand, however our research showed that B2B sites in this sector tend to be generic and overly conservative. Herkules’ audience goes beyond the typical C–suite exectives and needed to appeal to rising stars as well. Consequently a more dynamic approach to content with a more progressive look and feel was required to fulfil their brand promise.
Solution
We restructured the content to put the user in control, making the navigation simpler with a more upfront focus on the dynamic stream of news content from Herkules. The site also places stronger emphasis on the talent within the company from key players to up and comers. Finally the presentation of funds and investments were simplified to the essential details making this hard data easier to understand.

We placed particular emphasis on the CMS making it easy for staff with minimal training to use. The system is flexible without loosing the integrity of the design as the site grows. The UX employed a more open feel with strong imagery providing more impact to a brand traditionally focussed on facts rather than feel.
Results
The new site is both rich in content whilst clarifying the true nature of Herkules’ business. Keeping the stakeholders updated with new activities is essential. Mission has delivered a solution that’s makes the company`s communication far more effective.
