Tashi Namgyal Academy is a school in Gangtok, Sikkim. As an ex-student, the school's Golden Jubilee celebrations gave me the perfect excuse to give back to the school. Over 3 days, a team of 4 of us sat down to design House banners for the ocassion, and the school eventually decided to make them their new House crests.
Our keywords when brainstorming were vibrant, dynamic, colourful and traditional.
We explored form-letter integration and hand-lettering. We designed 2 sets of banners, one with the House crests and one with hand-lettered House names.
