The Caregivers is a local television drama series. The story revolves around the life of the main protagonist, Yang Haotian, who is a home nurse who makes house calls to old and weak patients with chronic illnesses. Cheerful by nature, he brings much joy to his home-bound patients. Over time, he begins to form close ties with his patients and their families, and has an understanding of each family’s situation. Besides dealing with his patients’ medical conditions, Haotian inevitably gets involved in their lives.
