This project is ABOUT the idea of a vehicle that will float in case it finds itself on water.
In case of an unfortunate flood or driving into water, the vehicle will deploy its outside airbags (one airbag in each wheel compartment, inside the fenders). The vehicle will float instead of sinking in, giving the passengers more time to escape safely. Detecting the sinking of the vehicle can be done by monitoring few vehicle parameters, suspension travel AND humidity sensorS. While floating, the vehicle will AUTOMATICALLY request for help AND sharE its location with the authorities. ;)
