I designed this year's Gawad Lasalyano for De La Salle University. Gawad Lasalyano recognizes achievers and promotes excellence in the fields of leadership, sports, campus media, culture and arts, military service, discipline formation, faith formation, and community engagement. Gawad Lasalyano is a night of recognition and honor for students, faculty, staff and other community members who are passionate about leadership excellence and community engagement.
The chosen theme for this year's Gawad Lasalyano is ASEAN. I used images of bamboos to represent the unity of the ASEAN countries through their historical and cultural roots, and to emphasize the many uses of native materials, such as the bamboo, in the neighboring ASEAN countries.
The collaterals for the event were both in print and digital. Some of these collaterals were: (1) primer for the awards and applicants, (2) print-ready posters to be posted inside the university, (3) sponsorship primer for companies and organizations, and (4) invitations for faculty and students.
