A new concept in the Netherlands, but also rare in the rest of the world. Papabubble now own 37 branches, it began 12 years ago in Barcelona and thereafter Amsterdam. Papabubble is unique because next to a beautiful finished product, also makes a spectacle in preparation. In the middle of the store, the customer can see how cooked sugar is colored and shaped into a candy or lollipop. illustrations and letters are easily incorporated into sweets. The name could not be changed. It needed a new image and packaging design.
For the brand, the focus should be on the process of making the candies. This would be very clear illustrated in its simplicity. With the simplicity it had to show that the process is not easy and that it certainly is a special profession. This would give the brand an additional luxury image. There's truly a lot of work behind making some sweets.
