Background of the project

At the establishment of the company, the main focus was organizing events. After acquiring profound expertise and network, it has grown and broadened its services. The company name has changed to "By Skovsgaard" and consist now of three sub-departments, Events by Skovsgaard, Agency by Skovsgaard and Consulting by Skovsgaard. 

Solution

LOGO
One of the main demands for the new logo was keeping the original logotype and also the pink color as it bear lot of value for the owner, Kathrine Skovsgaard. Together we identified one of the main challenges of the original logo - that it was too long and often hard to place and combine with other elements in general. To solve this I have chosen to divide the name in two lines and incorporate "by" as a layer on the "S". The priority was to keep it simple and readable.

COLORS
Each of the three sub-departments has a specific color assigned. Events remained pink as they've been in the last years simply because its character haven't changed and majority of people associate this color to the company. Agency, which focuses on provide a cooperating company/party with workers they are in need of, is green, a harmonious color that is often identified with care and helping. Consulting services basically means sharing the acquired knowledge in a form of workshops or personal meetings. The chosen color was blue, often associated with knowledge, responsibility and stability.

PATTERN
There was designed a pattern that represents and encompasses all of the three sub-departments. This pattern is memorable and provides a good visual coherency between the communication materials.
