The Jornal Muvucando (originated from the words Muvuca - a mixture of various seed qualities that will be taken to a 

region that needs to be sown), is a newspaper from the Ouro Verde Institute. It circulates through the 8 municipalities where the 

NGO operates: Alta Floresta, Nova Canaã do Norte, Terra Nova do Norte, Nova Santa Helena, 

Nova Guarita, Carlinda, Apiacás and Colíder.

For this newspaper to exist, the Ouro Verde Institute offered workshops for children and young people in these communities.

My role was to create these workshops (photography, layout, writing workshops, among others) and develop them with the participants. Then put these texts together and layout this newspaper that was printed and distributed within the 

Sementes do Portal project.
